PoetryThis class will introduce the basics of poetry and allow you the freedom to express yourself. It will cover the 4 main types of poetry which are haikus, free verse, limericks, and sonnets. By the end of this class, students will be able to independently construct their own poems and illustrate aspects of their creative process. Writing will help students implement abstract thinking and language skills. No previous experience in writing or poetry is required and lessons will be adapted to each individual student's pace.
