Current EventsBeing aware means educating yourself so that you can make informed arguments and most importantly become a leader in society.
In the Current Events class, students will exhibit current global events and obtain the necessary debating skills to talk in any conversation and debate setting. The goal of this class is to help students become aware with the many impactful events happening around our world and make informed opinions regarding each topic. Many students who are in middle school have not yet experienced the tough setting of a highschool environment and the inquisitive thinking that this level ensues. This course prepares middle school students for the next stages of their life in not only highschool but also the latter. Current events encompasses debate, real world thinking, and most importantly the development of bright humanities problem solvers. |
